After researching available pet supplements, a local veterinarian came to us with a request:  Please formulate a rational dietary supplement that cats will love to eat.  The end result was just what the veterinarian had ordered.

Rational Formula

NUTRI-TREATSâ are formulated with proportionately greater amounts of the nutrients and vitamins that tend to lose potency during the processing of commercial pet foods (Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Thiamine, B6, B12, Pantothenic Acid, Biotin and Folic Acid).  NUTRI-TREATSâ supplements contain proportionately smaller amounts of the more stable minerals.

Unique Features

• Only preformed  Vitamin A is used in NUTRI-TREATSâ for Cats since cats cannot utilize Beta Carotene. 
• No Magnesium is added to NUTRI-TREATSâ for Cats since some cats can develop Feline Urologic Syndrome (FUS) from diets containing excessive amounts of the mineral. 
• Calcium Ascorbate (Vitamin C) is non-acidic and therefore less likely to cause gastric distress in sensitive pets. 
• The B-Vitamins are specially coated to enhance palatability and increase shelf life. 
• Carbonyl Iron is non-toxic and better assimilated than iron salts. 
• Selenium is included because mounting evidence indicates this essential mineral is lacking in many pet diets. 
• Taurine is proven to be essential for healthy hearts.  
• Lecithin and Brewers Yeast are finding increased use in the veterinary field.  Older cats, especially, require increased amounts of Lecithin as the preferred source for dietary choline.
