Suntheanine® SR is specially formulated with SmartMatrix™ secure-release tableting technology to ensure gradual delivery of L-theanine over 6-8 hours. The tablet releases up to 40% for immediate support, while the remaining 60% is released slowly to provide longer-lasting effects.*

2. How L-Theanine Works

L-theanine is an amino acid structurally similar to glutamate and is believed to interact with pathways in the brain associated with relaxation and mental clarity.*
